These Booking Terms apply when joining a Liberation Vacations lifestyle group sailing aboard Virgin Voyages.
1. Who You Are Booking With
Liberation Vacations promotes and coordinates selected lifestyle-friendly group sailings aboard Virgin Voyages.
For these sailings, Liberation Vacations acts as a First Mate/travel agent and group coordinator.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the cruise itself is supplied by Virgin Voyages.
Your cruise booking is therefore subject to the applicable Virgin Voyages booking terms, fare conditions, ticket contract/conditions of carriage and policies in force at the time of booking.
2. How Booking Works
Where we provide a Liberation Vacations First Mate booking link, customers will use that booking route to select and book their Virgin Voyages cabin.
The booking process will display the applicable voyage price, taxes, fees, fare conditions and payment requirements.
Your reservation is not confirmed merely because you have registered an interest in a Liberation Vacations group.
Your booking is confirmed in accordance with the confirmation provided by Virgin Voyages.
3. Payments
Unless we specifically tell you otherwise for a particular product or service, payments for your Virgin Voyages cruise are made to Virgin Voyages.
Liberation Vacations does not collect or hold your cruise fare when you pay through our Virgin Voyages First Mate booking route.
The deposit, final balance date and payment requirements applicable to your booking are determined by Virgin Voyages and the fare type or promotion you select.
It is your responsibility to ensure payments are completed by the required deadlines.
4. Costings
Costings advertised by Liberation Vacations are based on the information and availability available at the time they are published.
Cruise fares can change according to availability, cabin category, fare type and promotions.
The price shown during the Virgin Voyages booking process will be the price applicable to your booking unless otherwise confirmed.
5. Cancellations, Changes and Refunds
Cancellation, amendment, name-change and refund rights for your Virgin Voyages booking are determined by the fare conditions and Virgin Voyages terms applicable to your reservation.
Different fare types can have significantly different cancellation and amendment conditions.
Customers should therefore review the applicable Virgin Voyages terms before completing their booking.
Where appropriate, Liberation Vacations can assist customers in communicating with Virgin Voyages regarding their reservation, but we cannot override Virgin Voyages' applicable booking conditions.
6. Group Participation
Booking a particular sailing does not automatically guarantee participation in any private Liberation Vacations activities or communities unless your booking has been correctly associated with the relevant group and any applicable participation requirements have been met.
Where possible, customers should book using the Liberation Vacations booking route provided for the sailing.
If you have already booked the same sailing independently, contact us and we can advise whether your booking can be associated with the group.
7. Changes to the Group
The Virgin Voyages sailing and the Liberation Vacations group are separate elements.
If the number of people participating in the Liberation Vacations group changes, this does not normally affect the underlying cruise booking.
Likewise, Liberation Vacations cannot guarantee the number, demographic, relationship dynamic or level of participation of other group members.
8. Changes Made by Virgin Voyages
Cruise itineraries, ports, arrival and departure times, ships, onboard activities and other elements of the voyage may be changed by Virgin Voyages.
Such changes are governed by Virgin Voyages' applicable terms.
9. Travel Documentation
Each traveller is responsible for ensuring they have appropriate:

Travel documentation

Travel insurance
-
Health documentation where legally required
Customers should check official travel requirements before departure.
10. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that every traveller obtains appropriate travel insurance from the time of booking.
Your policy should provide suitable cover for your circumstances, including cancellation, medical treatment, repatriation and disruption where appropriate.
11. Behaviour
Joining a Liberation Vacations group does not remove or replace Virgin Voyages' onboard rules, policies or conditions of carriage.
All customers remain subject to the rules imposed by Virgin Voyages while aboard the ship.
Liberation Vacations also expects group members to behave respectfully towards each other.
Serious harassment, intimidation, discrimination, boundary violations or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from Liberation Vacations group activities or communities.
12. Consent
Participation in a lifestyle-friendly holiday never constitutes consent to sexual activity.
Consent must always be freely given, informed, enthusiastic and capable of being withdrawn at any time.
No traveller has any obligation to participate in sexual, romantic or physical interaction with another traveller.
"No" must always be respected.
13. Liberation Vacations' Role
Liberation Vacations brings like-minded adults together and helps coordinate the social side of the group experience.
We cannot guarantee friendships, attraction, chemistry, sexual interaction or participation by other guests.
Your Virgin Voyages holiday remains enjoyable as a cruise regardless of your level of participation in the Liberation Vacations group.
